Our adventure really began when a highly reputable Parisian concept store, Colette, fell for our chocolate bars and believed in our project. And now, barely 4 years later, our start-up is expanding to New York to set up our own pop-up at the MoMA Design Store!
Since January 9th, we have opened our very first store in New York, in Manhattan's — and therefore the world's — trendiest concept store! We are now part of their selection of ultra-trendy design objects, from the Yayoi Kusama skateboard to the legendary Eames club chair.
We don't just have 3 chocolate bars at checkout number 4, but a large space all to ourselves at the store's entrance, which we have completely redesigned to reflect our brand.
For the occasion, we created a limited edition of chocolate bars and gift sets, sold exclusively at MoMA Design Stores, with illustrations directly inspired by New York life.
For a month and a half, our corner will be an experiential space offering visitors a dynamic program of events around art... and chocolate! We have called upon the crème de la crème of New York illustrators who will be on site to draw directly on the wrappers of our chocolate bars, so everyone can leave with their personalized bar! We have also installed a Love Box where lovers can slip a sweet note along with a chocolate bar. A package as charming as it is crunchy, which we will then send to the person of their choice.
That's it, we've taken a bite out of the apple and we're not planning on letting go.
