Arya Mularama is an illustrator and art director from Jakarta, Indonesia. He is known for his surreal and satirical works, often influenced by comics, skateboarding culture, and the films and video games of the 1990s. Mularama’s work is frequently characterised by grotesque and macabre imagery, but he also uses his art to explore themes such as mental illness, anxiety, and the questioning of existence and the universe. Mularama has worked on a wide variety of projects, including album covers, music videos and advertising campaigns. He has also shown his works in solo and group exhibitions around the world.
