Keep your eyes peeled — you might recognise her by her big green eyes and untamable mane, because behind the name Piment Martin hides Marion Bègue, illustrator and art director. As far back as she can remember, she has always drawn. However, it is in graphic design that she trained, learning composition, the accuracy of shapes and the importance of colour. Today, she returns to what has never left her: illustration. Her graphic line and vivid palette are enough to describe her work as “joyful illustration”. She stages her little theatres of everyday life in remarkable compositions around her favourite subjects: femininity, objects and nature.
