Valentin Pujadas, but you can call him Dirty Pote. Why Dirty Pote? Because the first things he drew as a little boy were his “potes” (“buddies”), or rather his toys and stuffed animals. And “Dirty” to make it all a little more rock’n’roll. Toy Story is his greatest inspiration, and he watches it at least once a month. An art director at an advertising agency and a freelance illustrator, he has solid skills in layout and typography, which are the pillars of how he builds his universe. His work is colourful, playful, lively and above all abundant. You may also have come across his illustrations in bookshops, in books for teenagers. The latest, “Cliquer, c’est polluer”, raises young people’s awareness of digital pollution.
